Maths - Problem Solving

Room 13 has been working hard to solve some challenging problems  - although by the smiles on some of the children's faces you wouldn't think it!  They certainly enjoy a challenge!

Commonwealth Games

Team Koru had fun celebrating the Commonwealth Games by holding our own opening ceremony. We held a parade and marched to the national anthem of the country we represented. Each class represented a different country. In the afternoon we played some fun games together.

Cross Country

On Friday we had our School Cross Country. We had a perfect day to run the course. Everyone did their best and made it to the end!

Congratulations to Keevah who came 3rd in the Year 4 Girls race.

Catching up with our buddies.

We love catching up with our Room 7 buddies. Here are some photos of us reading together.

A Day with Gilbert

Last week Mrs Andrews brought her dog Gilbert in for the day. We had a 'Gilbert Day' where everything we did was planned around Gilbert. We wrote about Gilbert, did maths problem solving about Gilbert, drew Gilbert, read with Gilbert and ran the cross country with Gilbert. We had a great day! Take a look at our photos.
